Yesterday Lindsay and Vinny were married at Heinz Chapel and had a beautiful reception at Soldiers and Sailors Museum. They are leaving for their honeymoon tomorrow, so I wanted to post a few photos before they head out!

Thanks, guys, for asking us to be part of your beautiful day. More photos to come soon!

Now, Brad and I are headed out to North Park for Michele and Jody’s beautiful outdoor wedding. Have a great Sunday, everyone!

Hello. My name is Tulip. And I need a good home!

Yesterday, Mary Schwarz and I went to the Animal Rescue League of Pennsylvania to photograph rescue dogs for the society’s website and fundraising materials. My parents are veterinarians who taught me to love and appreciate animals, and I couldn’t think of a better way to volunteer my time: in an effort to help rescue dogs find homes with families who will love them!

If you are interested in adopting any of the dogs featured on my blog, please contact the Animal Rescue League for more information! And, be sure to let me know, as I am offering a free portrait session for any family who adopts one of these precious animals.

Julia’s wedding day started with hair, makeup, and a surprise Limo from Steve. Steve’s started with friends and family. Their wedding-day story was just beautiful – a gothic cathedral, hand-written vows, and beautiful music followed by lunch, dancing, and drinks at Phipps Conservatory.

We were honored to document this beautiful story. Thank you Julia and Steve for the opportunity!

Kristen and Brett’s wedding day was truly amazing. They were married at Heinz Chapel and then their reception followed at Phipps Conservatory. It was a truly beautiful day with many genuine, slow moments between Kristen and Brett, and Brad and I had so much fun being part of it all.

Thanks so much, Kristen and Brett, for the great honor of documenting your day! Here are a few favorites… many more to come! Enjoy!

I love the photos of our cake- would you send them to me so I can use them on my facebook page? I left my camera at home that night, so I would really appreciate it.
Please feel free to have your logo on it.

Let me know- and if you have any set-up pictures of the room, I could also use them.

In my opinion, the wedding album is the final and most important part of our job as photographers. The wedding album tells the story of your day in a clean, modern, beautiful way. And, it can be enjoyed for generations to come!

This album from Jack and Jen’s wedding is a beautiful 12×16 flush-mounted digital album with hinged pages. The cover is a beautiful green/brown leather with a brown suede stripe. SO sweet!

Here are some photos.

The beautiful packaging:

Michele and Jody are amazing people with such fun, adventurous spirits. They met while running a race with their dogs in North Park, and they are getting married next month at the same location they met! So, I was so excited to learn when talking to Michele about their engagement session that they wanted to incorporate their interests – tandem road biking, running, and their dogs – into their session!

Brad and I love the outdoors and we also love our two dogs. So, we were thrilled about the opportunity!

Here are some favorites from their session. They are getting married less than three weeks, too, so more photos to come soon!

Last night, Brad and I photographed Kristen and Brett’s beautiful Heinz Chapel wedding and Phipps Conservatory Reception, and I wanted to post a little teaser for Kristen and Brett to see before leaving on their honeymoon!

Phipps Conservatory is a beautiful place to hold a reception, and after everything ended and the guests left, we had a chance to catch a few sweet, relaxing moments with Kristen and Brett!

Here’s a teaser… many more to come!

This afternoon, two of my best friends and former college roommates are flying from AL and TN to Pittsburgh! So, we’re going to have a fun weekend of relaxing and hitting some of the Pittsburgh highlights!

I am so, so excited for them to arrive, and in honor of this fun Pittsburgh weekend, here are a few photos of the city from downtown and from the side of 279 (yes, Brad wanted to kill me when he saw i pulled over there to take photos!).

Ahhh beautiful Pittsburgh…
