Jen and Matt’s wedding day was… how shall I describe it? The sun was shining, the air was cool, the bride was happy, and the groom was totally in love. It was absolutely the perfect day. The day started downtown at the Wyndham Grand Hotel and then moved to Phipps Conservatory for a beautiful garden wedding. The reception was held back at the Wyndham, and of course… there was some Point State Park action as well.

Jen and Matt, thank you so much for making the day so enjoyable for everyone around you, including us! You are a very special couple and your day was truly one to remember. Enjoy a few favorite photos! :)

After Karen and Chris’s engagement session, I had been counting the days until their wedding, as they are SO in love, sweet, easy-going, and an absolute pleasure to photograph. And, the big day was everything I expected it to be.  The day began with a sweet ceremony at Robert Morris University Chapel and ended with a beautiful reception at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott.

Karen and Chris, thank you so much for the great privaledge of being part of your day. You two are absolutely perfect together, and it was truly such a honor to document the day when you became husband and wife.

Anna and Anatoli are two of the sweetest, happiest, most generous people I have ever met. They love others so well, and from the very first meeting, I was SO excited for their wedding day to arrive. Their day started at Anatoli’s home church of River City Church of Pittsburgh and ended with a beautiful reception at Oakmont Country Club.

Anna and Anatoli, yours was one of the most special days I have ever been a part of. Your faith and love for each other is so palpable, and I was greatly encouraged by it. Thank you for everything.

Amanda and Nate are dear friends of ours, so when they asked me about scheduling a session for photos of Joshua, I was SO happy!! We became friends with Amanda and Nate soon after moving to Pittsburgh, and we are so very thankful for their friendship over the years. Thanks, Moores, for making this so fun and easy. kfz versicherung vergleich autotypen - Pedro Magalhães. Perdoe a provocação.

Jessica and Andrew are planning a beautiful wedding next summer at Heinz Chapel and the University Club, and we took engagement photos to celebrate! We started our session in Oakland where their relationship developed, and then moved downtown afterwards for some beautiful night photos on the bridges and by the fountain. Jessica and Andrew live near the point, so this was the perfect way to end the night.

Jessica and Andrew, thanks so much for being so much fun to work with. I had a GREAT time running around Pittsburgh with you, and wow, that dress. I still can not get over it! :)

Hudson is the littlest New Yorker I know, and he is quite the city baby. His TriBeCa apartment overlooks the World Trade Center, and his favorite park has a beautiful view of the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building. He even deals with the summer heat by splashing in the fountain with all the other kids! :)

Rebecca and Hudson, it was so much fun spending the morning with you both. I miss you already little man!!!

On July 21st, 2013, Aoife Lennon entered the world. Aoife’s name is Irish and means “beautiful, radiant, joyful” and I must say that even at a few weeks old, Aoife was just that. Aoife’s parents Conor and Bronwyn will be leaving Pittsburgh after Conor finished his PhD, so after taking photos at their home, we went to Pitt’s campus to take a few photos to commemorate Aoife’s birthplace.

Conor and Bron, thank you so much for having me into your world to document these first weeks at home. It was a joy meeting Aoife and I hope to see you both again before you leave this wonderful city. Here are a few favorite photos from your session.

The first time I met Karen and Chris, I could tell in minutes that they are perfect for each other. They laugh nonstop and tease each other in an easy-going way that showed such comfort. They love each other like crazy, and I am SO thrilled that we get to be part of their wedding in a few weeks.

Karen and Chris, here are a few favorite photos from your engagement session. It was such a pleasure to photograph you both, and I look forward to the big day even more after laughing behind the camera for two hours straight!

I first met Emilie and Max when I was the second shooter at their wedding for my good friend Mary Schwarz of Birchtree Photography! Mary has since moved to Washington DC, so I was thrilled when they contacted me about photos of their new Britney Spaniel, Nevada. Emilie and Max, it was so nice seeing you both again and I hope you LOVE these photos of your sweet, happy (and amazingly well-trained!) Nevada. :)

Matt and Julie knew Brad through a work connection and asked us if we’d like to join them for dinner and drinks to talk about wedding photography. Um, YES! Well, after sitting for hours over fun cocktails and delicious BBQ at Union Pig and Chicken, Brad and I knew that we would be the perfect fit for each other and were so excited when they asked us to document their beautiful, vintage-inspired wedding day at the Mansion at Maple Heights.

Matt and Julie, your day was exactly perfect in every way! It was relaxing yet energetic, fun and sweet, and every single detail was planned out perfectly.

Here are a few favorite photos from your day. Enjoy!

There is nothing I love more than an engagement session that includes a big, fluffy, sweet dog. And, miss Quinn did not disappoint! Jessica and Andrew, I truly had such a wonderful morning with you two. I felt like I was hanging out with new friends rather than taking engagement photos. I hope you love the photos… we can’t wait for your wedding day. :)

As I write this blog post, I am overwhelmed with thankfulness for this job, as one of the greatest honors for a photographer is to document a couple’s marriage and then their growth into a family. This session is a very special one for me, as Christy and Jared are friends for whom we have photographed many milestones, starting more than two years ago with their beautiful Priory wedding, followed a year later by their hospital-room session after the birth of their daughter Amelia.  But, wow, how the time flies!!  Amelia is now a little girl, and I had a wonderful time capturing her toddling around the park, picking flowers, climbing on the playground, and giving us all great big smiles.

Christy and Jared, thanks again for this great privilege. Your family is very special to us… I just wish we saw each other more often!! Big hugs and lots of love.

And, just in case you were wondering, this is how a one-year-old communicates that she is TIRED of taking photos!! :)

When Tessa and Brian first came to meet with us, they described their vision for the wedding as an intimate candle-lit ceremony that would take place at dusk in an outdoor garden. And, as we listened to their vision, we became very excited. And, to add to the fun, Tessa and Brian are close friends with four of our favorite people, Michael and Angela and Lisa and Casey, so we already knew what a fun (high-kicking!) party it would be! :)

Tessa and Brian, thank you so much for trusting us to document your vision. Your wedding day was truly beautiful and unique, and we were so honored to be part of it. Here are a few photos of your beautiful day.

Beth Crook Insalaco - Wow, Milla! These photos are incredible. It looks like the lighting could have been tricky from a photography perspective, but the end result is absolutely gorgeous! You did a phenomenal job capturing the sweet, romantic ambience of all that candlelight and most importantly the beautiful, happy couple!ReplyCancel

I have been looking forward to Jenn and Ben’s wedding for a LONG time. We did their engagement photos over a year ago, and we had such an easy, fun time together that I knew the wedding was going to be wonderful. And, it truly was. The ceremony was beautiful and reception was a blast. And, to top off the night, Ben’s band surprised Jenn with a song!

Jenn and Ben, here’s a quick preview of the photos from your day. Thank you, once again, for everything. :)

Laura and George are two people who feel more like friends than clients. They have been in front of our cameras many times, starting with their engagement photos in Schenley Park and then their beautiful Pittsburgh Wedding at the Pittsburgh Golf Club. Now, I am absolutely thrilled to have photos not only the two of them, but a THIRD member of their family: George!!

Laura and George, thank you for allowing me to be part of the milestones in your lives. Your little man is absolutely beyond words. I was smitten.

Here are a few favorite photos. :)
