Okay, folks! As promised… more albums!
Today I want to show you an example of our parent albums. Parent albums are 8×8 inch leather-bound albums with beautiful hinged digital pages.
You can choose the color of the binding (all of which can be seen here). And, there are 20 sides of photos in your album.
Here are a few photos of our studio sample from Caitlin and Rolf’s beautiful Phipps Conservatory/William Penn Omni wedding last year!

And as I said before, we have samples of all these color options in our office downtown. So, come feel and smell the leathery goodness! :)

I live in PA, but I am Florida girl at heart. And fresh, falling snow still makes my heart pound like a little kid.
It’s because of this that yesterday I sent out a call for couples to put on their wedding clothes and head outside in the freezing snow for some beautiful white photos. And, I had two WONDERFUL couples take me up on the offer: Betsey & Matt and Leeann & Brad.
I just got back from the shoots and downloaded the pictures, and I wanted to post two “teaser” photos. I am so excited to show the rest soon – thanks so much all 4 of you for being so amazing and coming out in the snow and cold!
If anyone else would like to take snowy photos in your wedding dress, I will extend this offer to two more couples. Contact me if you are interested.

Happy Friday everyone!
I want to show you a few photos of our guest sign-in albums for wedding receptions. These albums have become really popular since we started offering an engagement shoot with every level of wedding coverage, and it is one of my personal favorite wedding add-ons!
The sign-in album is 10×10 inches with thick, hinged pages like our 12×12 wedding albums (and, they would look awesome sitting together on your coffee table!). It includes your favorite engagement photos and also offers room for guest signatures on every page. The color options are modern and fun, and the album color can also coordinate with your wedding album color and/or wedding reception colors. And on a personal note, I always love to see guests enjoying your engagement photos at the wedding reception!
Here are a few photos from our studio sample of Adriel and Neal’s engagement session. We have many more of these books coming in the next few months from last year’s engagement shoots. So, I will post more photos as they come in.

There are lots of color choices for this album (which you can see here). And, we have samples of every cover material in our office. So, feel free to come feel and smell the amazing choices anytime! :)

Recently, Brad and I have started including a full set of professional printed proofs with every wedding and portrait package. And, we just received the new Milla C. Photography proof boxes for delivering these proofs to our clients!
Aren’t they awesome? I absolutely love them and can’t wait to start sending them out.
Why do we include proofs with our wedding and portrait packages?
Good question! :)
First, we love having photos in-hand and we want our clients to hold actual physical photos instead of only viewing them on a computer screen. It’s hard to see the big picture of your wedding day when you’re viewing photos one-by-one on a small screen, and because of issues with monitor calibration, the photos will look slightly different on every computer screen! You can read my posts about monitor calibration here!
Also, we want you to ENJOY your photos by putting them in frames, passing them out to family and friends, sticking them in thank-you cards, etc.
Finally, we include professional proofs with every package because we want our clients to see the difference between professional prints and consumer prints. Seriously, folks, there is NO comparison! Our professional prints are completed with a lustre coating that protects them over time. And, the colors are bright and vibrant without being over-saturated, as they often are when ordered from consumer labs. We have rave reviews about the quality of our professional prints, and I want everyone to have some in-hand!

Over the next few days, I am going to post some photos of our packaging, pricing brochures, and albums that we have been working on over the cold, snowy winter months! We are very, very excited about everything, and I can’t wait to show you the facelift that our products have undergone recently.
These DVDs for high-resolution client images have been screenprinted by North Coast Interactive, and the beautiful tins were recommended to me by Caryn Azure and come from Effectuality. We will use these DVDs to send high-resolution images from weddings and portrait shoots, and we also will use them for making DVDs of our music slideshows!

The theme of this valentine’s week at I heart faces is KISSES! So, here’s one of my favorite Mt. Washington kisses from Elyse and Boris’s wedding. What a precious moment!
Happy Valentine’s everyone!
I love wedding albums.
I love seeing the “story” displayed on beautiful pages and customized to fit each couple’s taste.
And I love Leighanna and Shawn’s album. Here are a few photos.
p.s. for those of you currently choosing your album color, this leather is called “pumpkin spice” and is AMAZING for fall weddings! It’s soft. It’s vibrant. It smells wonderful. :) Very fun choice Leighanna and Shawn!

I wanted to stop by quickly and post a photo for the i heart faces blog. This week’s theme is textures, and Adriel and Neal are the beautiful bride and groom!

Back in December, I posted some portraits from Eva and John’s wedding on the snowiest day of the year! Well, I wanted to come back and post some photos from the rest of their day, as it was truly a beautiful event.
The wedding took place at St. Philips and the reception was at the Sheraton at Station Square.

When I woke up this Saturday morning to a thick blanket of snow, I was so excited! Brad and I photographed Eva and John’s wedding on the most beautiful day of the year in my opinion (yes, that’s right! This Floridian still gets very excited about snow)!
Eva and John are a wonderful, sweet couple who were SO brave and excited to hang out in the snow for some photos. I won’t be able to edit their whole wedding until after the holidays, but I wanted to post a few favorite portraits from their day.
What a beautiful couple, inside and out!

Remember Leighanna and Shawn from this preview a little while ago? Well, I am back with a few more photos from their portrait session!
Leighanna and Shawn were married on a cold, rainy day. But, they weren’t bothered by either the cold or the rain! They just grabbed umbrellas, put on some UGGs, and took us to North Park where we had a GREAT time taking pictures of them and their wedding party. Here are a few favorites of Leighanna and Shawn together. And this reminds me to say (again) to our 2010 couples, please plan plenty of time for bride-groom portraits. You will never, never, never, never regret it!!
Thanks Leighanna and Shawn for being so wonderful!

Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well on the other end of the screen. We have been doing well here… really looking forward to a weekend to relax and catch up on some things around the house!
So, I have a few updates today. First of all, check out the new blog facelift! I have been working on this for a little while and just launched it yesterday. I love the bigger photos, richer colors, and header slideshow. Let me know what you think!
Also, we have been busy the past few weeks with weddings, engagement shoots, and family portrait sessions. So, today, a preview from Maggie and Tyler’s session! More to come soon…
Happy Friday everyone! Any fun plans for the weekend?

Angela and Chris were married on a beautiful fall day! And, they suggested that we visit north park for some photos before the ceremony. I have to say, I love love love when couples have a “first look” moment and allow us to get some photos before the ceremony begins. It’s such a relaxed and fun time…
Here are a few photos from their morning! More from the ceremony and reception to come later!

Happy Friday everyone! Since I am trying to be a better blogger and post something every day, I wanted to show you a preview of what I’ve been working on this morning… Leighanna and Shawn’s wedding.
I love these two shots: the first by Brad during the ceremony (again hiding in the choir loft with the 200mm) and the second by me during their first dance. Gotta love that backlighting!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. We are photographing a wedding on Saturday and then heading to the STEELERS game on Sunday! Woot!

Jen and Todd were married a few weeks ago at Hebron Church and Longvue Country Club, and Brad and I were honored to be part of it! The whole day was truly beautiful, and I was reminded that there is no time like early fall for a wedding. The weather was cool and colorful, and friends and family were kind and warm.
We so enjoyed being part of your day, Jen and Todd. Thank you.
Here are a few favorites from their day. To see their wedding slideshow, click here.
