Brandi and Brian had a beautiful summer day for their wedding and reception at Phipps Conservatory. The whole day was gorgeous from start to finish – the garden, the flowers, the family and friends, the glowing bride and groom. And, they even had an awesome robotic ring bearer (definitely a first for me to photograph!).

Rachel and Brandon had one of the most beautiful wedding days I’ve seen. It was sunny, warm, and they created a beautiful outdoor space in Uniontown, PA to host their beautiful ceremony.

Elyssa and Matt had a beautiful William Penn Omni Hotel wedding in downtown Pittsburgh.

Here are a few of our favorites from their wedding day. As Matt’s dad says, “we know how to party!” And he’s right!

Thank you, Elyssa and Matt, as well as the Brent and Faigen families for your kindness and hospitality. We truly enjoyed every second of your big day. Your families and friends are amazing people, and we were fortunate to get to know them just a little bit.

Angie is a sweet, calm Pit Bull who is living with us for a little while, looking for a home. After a few weeks in our house, I can say a little bit more about her:

She loves people. She loves walks. She gets along fine with other dogs but isn’t affectionate yet (our dog Turk tries to snuggle with her and lick her face and she just ignores him). She likes swimming. She is house trained and crate trained. She loves walks. Shredded chicken is her treat of choice. She sleeps 22 hours of the day. When she’s not sleeping, she’s putting her nose in a lap for attention. She wants to be with someone at all times and will move from room to room to stay by your side. She likes having a back yard so she can lay in the grass. And have I mentioned that she loves walks?

Yep… she’s an awesome dog. If you know anyone who is looking for a new family member, contact me or Fur Kid Rescue to learn more about this sweet girl.

This girl’s name is Angie, and she is a super sweet, affectionate, calm American Pitt Bull Terrier who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and people of all ages! She is going to be staying with us for a little while as she waits for a new home.

We are fostering through a local rescue called Fur Kid Rescue that loves and works primarily with tough breeds – bulldogs, boxers, pit bulls, bull mastiffs, etc. We are so excited about this rescue because we love these breeds and also because the owner, Jennifer, takes great care with the dogs she’ll adopt. She does a wonderful job finding sweet, adoptable dogs that defy the traditional stereotypes of the “bully” breeds. And most importantly, she does a wonderful job finding awesome homes for them.

Anyway, here are a few photos from a trip we took today with our two boxers to a local lake to swim and relax! Angie is still timid right now, as she’s been moved around so much lately. But, she’s adjusting her temporary home, and we can’t wait to see who she’ll get to go home with!

I want to share a few of Jeannine and Chris’s engagement photos! Jeannine and Chris recently moved into an adorable apartment in Shadyside, so we decided to take photos on their street and around the neighborhood.

Melissa and Jon met at a Steelers game. And they bought their first house together on Mt. Washington. And, their wedding will be held at St. Mary of the Mount Church on Grandview Dr., overlooking the city. So, we tried to incorporate all of this into their engagement session!
