The Milla C. Design Guide

Hi everyone! I am stopping by the ole’ blog to announce an exciting new development for Milla C. portrait clients: the brand-new-hot-off-the-press Milla C. Design Guide!

When I am developing new ideas and options for my packages and products, I always try to put myself in the position of my clients. If I was going to hire a photographer to take my family’s photos, what would I hope to receive from the session besides beautiful photos? What would make the whole experience Amazing? (yes, Amazing with a capital A!)

So far, I have come to two important decisions.

First, I know that I would want photos IN HAND after my session without having to pay anything extra. I don’t want to just look at photos on my computer screen; I want to see the colors, feel the finish, smell the ink, show my friends, put them in my purse, stick them to my refrigerator, etc. So, that’s an important part of every Milla C. portrait session: a full set of professional 4×6 prints in your hands shortly after your session.

Secondly, I would want help deciding what to DO with my photos once I have them! In the past, when I have had a bunch of photos that I loved, I often ordered a random assortment of enlargements while having no idea how if they would fit together well or where I would want to display them. For this reason, many of those photos are still in boxes in our storage room.

To remedy this problem, portrait sessions now come with the brand new Milla C. Design Guide! This design guide aims to help you order wisely and to save time by suggesting what size enlargements to order and where/how to display them in your home! This design guide also comes with information about other products such as fine-art leather albums and smaller desktop photo collections.

I really hope that this guide helps everyone feel more confident about the process of ordering and displaying photos in their home, and now I am back to brainstorming what else would make our sessions more Amazing with a capital A! Any ideas?
